modern steel coasters aren't quite my forte, but i've tried a few. intamin does a damn good job, i think. millenium force was very impressive, but storm runner is just outrageous and fairly bizarre to ride. they're both great works of coaster art. i was also impressed with volcano.
i've only been on a few b&m inverts, but i think batman is still the best.
between the flight of fear and joker's jinx, i somehow enjoyed the JJ more. it felt faster and more intense, which is strange, becuase the darkness should contribute to the feeling of disorientation, but it didn't do much for me.
going into the arrow catalog, i love the two busch arrows - loch ness monster and big bad wolf. they are fantastic appearance wise, and they are unique and original. but magnum is the peak, IMO. it's just a wild and beautiful ride. i can't wait to try it again someday.
for new wood, so far my favorite is the hershey wildcat. so that is my favorite GCI. roar was ok, but somehow not as crazy. lightning racer didn't have much energy to it, i thought.
the only CCI coaster i've tried is the great white. while i thought it lacked in some departments, it DOES impress as overlooks the sea.
john allen's racer (PKI) is a pretty nice ride, better than the rebel yell. one of my goals is to ride the skyliner this year.
most would probably agree that phoenix is the summit of PTC/schmeck. i can go with that. it is so traditional yet sublime in it's effective simplicity.
the two john miller's i like best were both altered by others...thunderbolt (vettel) and wild one (ptc and six flags) so i can't really say. jack rabbit is damn fun though.
