This is a great starter coaster for little ones, without boring mom and dad to tears. My 4 year old LOVES this ride. It is a step above kiddie coasters for kids looking to graduate up to real coasters.
The Comet is a really old ride, one of the oldest in the park. Like metssuck said, this ride is perfect for little kids. Otherwise, most other people tend to be bored with it.
Not that great. Its really old and nostalgic but the ride is short. Good for a little kids first coaster.
Normal wooden coaster. Nice for a park like Waldameer. One of the best rides there.
Fun ride, well maintained, a neat piece of coaster history.
Ho hum. A fairly typical junior coaster, but with a bit nicer scenery. Lineups can get pretty long for this ride. For me, the best part was that it was near the karaoke stage and I could hear some good and not so good singing while waiting in line.
Always good to see a classic coaster with no seat belt, buzz bar, no seat divider. However, the ride is not that good. Now I know junior woodies arent supposed to give the same feel as the larger versions but I have been on others that did provide a little air and some side to side movement. This one was just a yawn fest to me.
Great, great old school ride. The Ghoster Coasters at the Paramount parks are clones of this one, but I dont think any of them has the atmosphere, history, or amusement of this one. Awesome for kids, and just watching it run makes me smile.
Good for the kiddies. Old school
A nice junior woodie that seems in average shape. The trees overhanging the track is by far the neatest part. Hopefully the new woodie will be on its way. I was able to get a second ride on this little fellow and was a little more impressed, except fo the capacity. It still keeps the six rating but it felt a little closer to Zachs Zoomer.
