It was a decent coaster. Actually much better than I expected. I was actually thinking that this would be a corkscrew coaster, until I actually saw the layout. The track was suprizingly smooth, and the drop into the tunnel was totally unexpected. The butterfly move was lots of fun too, but the entire ride was way too short, although what was in the ride was some good stuff. I also wish they would have used both trains instead of only one train on the entire track. It takes a while even if the line is short like this.

Very Smooth Coaster! The first drop is only 10 ft. but the second tunnel drop is 150 something ft. This is a great looping ride with great sound effects in the tunnel and smile because your picture is taken. But a word of warning to all men. When going into the brake run try not to slide into the harness, if you know what I mean!

Times ridden: 5 ~ Ride experience: 9 ~ Layout: 8 ~ Thrill factor: 10 ~ Landscaping: 10 ~ Evaluation: Although the layout is quite short and to the point, Tennessee Tornado packs a mean punch. The ride features three inversons, including a very interesting large loop. The main drop is all underground, dont forget to say cheese while going through it. The sound effects used in the first tunnel are a nice touch and really add to the ride experience. Now you might be thinking that this is a prettly lousy and rough ride since its made by Arrow. WRONG! Its a very smooth and pleasant ride that will leave you wanting more, hence, why I rode it five times in a row. The only downside Tennessee Tornado has is its short length, other than that, its a great ride.

I think this is a pretty fun ride. When you are in the loop and look down and see the track in the middle of it, it gives you another intense rush that just adds to the ride.

Just like Thunderhead, my opinion may be a little bias on Tennessee Tornado, because Im an employee of Dollywood, but its a great ride nonetheless. Several things makes this coaster stand out for me, the theming, with the decorations of all the stuff just thrown all over the place, you dont see coasters themed that well at some of the super parks, unless were talking Disney-MGMs Rock and Roller Coaster or the new Italian Job coaster coming to the Paramount parks this coming year. Also, being an employee you get the extra of the excitement the guests gets, because its extreme for Dollywoods family style park. Guests used to its predecessor, Thunder Express, doesnt expect the drop through the mountain, or the "Iron Butterfly" loops. Although, I think it would be fair to say that any coaster enthusiast would at least call this a must-ride, if not putting it near a top 10. The only fault, I have to agree with Axman, is that last hills painful jerk.

Great use of the terrain but as someone else said just being the smoothest Arrow doesnt make it a great coaster. Its pretty good and runs a lot better than it looks. Maintains its speed well and I loved the Sidewinder into the cut out ditch.

Great ride by Arrow. To bad they couldnt make more like this, since they filed bankrupt. The line is actually quite short, especially after The Thunderhead came along. The theming is great. The top of the lift hill is exciting. You expect the big drop and then you get surprised. You go through a tunnel through the side of the mountain and pop out at the bottom long enough to realize that you are almost in the middle of a 110 foot tall loop and you get some awesome air in the middle of the loop, a couple banks that are wiked with the trees below and beside you and two back to back loops that make up the iron butterfly, and you finally get a little more banking and a split second of air time before you hit the brake run! The roughest part of this ride is walking down te long set of steps!! They are almost verticle, and after a ride like that you will need to hold onto the rails!! The ride overall is short but leaves you guessing until the very end and has some great scenery along with it! A must ride for anyone!

T.T. is a fantastic ride for an arroww looper, but is still a little rough around the edges... The first drop is great and the loops are less painfull than one might expect, but the train slams into the breaks a little too fast for me. I could have got whiplash!

In the back this is a decent ride, very smooth and the loops are trippy, but up front it becomes a bit rough. I liked it considerably more than most arrow looping coasters, but it still isnt anything I personally would write home about. In the Silver Dollar chain, Wildfire wears the pants in best steel coaster catagory.
