Although I'm not giving this a perfect rating, this is hands down the most pleasant suprise of my trip to adventureland!! Its the only ride that I got multiple rides in on. Although looking back I probably shouldn't have since I eventually ran out of time and didn't get to do all the rides that I wanted to.

Ok I admit it, my curiousity got the better of me to see what this ride even was and I watched footage of it on youtube before going. Even as a person who loves dark rides, I was less than impressed. It looked cheesy and slopped together and boring. As I got in to the preshow and the saw the animatronic miner in such bad shape, all I could think was "oh no this is going to be awful" Yes he's in really bad shape. He has lost his beard, his mouth doesn't even move. In fact his hand only barely moves and every once in a while his eyes open and close in a creepy manner. But once I got on the actual ride, I really enjoyed myself. Its got some really cool scenery and effects. As well as some really bad effects. The light shining that is suppossed to be a train is so fake its not funny. But all of this is ok. I like a park that has a ride like underground. Something thats really unique to them. And for that purpose, underground is really good.

Very unique roller coaster in my opinion. The ride itself is very tame, but its more of a dark ride in my opinion as it has quite a few well-done scenes that make the ride and that are better than those on some true dark rides. Also, the ride seems faster than it really is.

The Underground is a wood indoor coaster. Built by CCI and designed by Larry Bill/Dennis McNulty in 1996. It has one PTC train with 7 four seat cars.The props inside are in excellent shape and in good working order. Capacity slow only one train. Duration of ride long. Fun, Rerideable family coaster/dark ride.

APPEARANCE-7 The props inside are in excellent condition and the pre show works well. they could have done more to the outside to incorporate the story. CAPACITY-6 Not one of the quicker loading things at Adventureland. The pre show gives you something to do during the wait, but considering the tameness of this coaster it could load quicker. RIDE QUALITY-7 The props make the ride obviously, but it could have had a couple quick points just to give a startle and still be a great family ride. FUN-9 I really liked what they were doing and naming the "ghost" something cheesy like Big Bad Bart adds to the fun. RERIDE-9 There are several rides I like better but considering how the crowds were doing the week you dont really have to skip anything. OVERALL-38 AVG-7.6 I will go with the 8 since I really liked this quirky, unique attraction. But ride at your own risk since this is one of those rides that really seems old school to me and I like that. Oh and youre not afraid of the dark are ya?

A good attempt at creating a family-style roller coaster in an amusement park that didnt have one. This ride may be slow, may be somewhat dull, but it is exciting for that first-time rider who is just turning five years old. I give Adventureland credit for remembering what a FAMILY amusement park is.

If it werent in the dark, it would be possibly the most stale ride in existance. The dark makes it seem faster so it is enjoyable.

I thought this was very interesting and moderately fun, Combine a dark ride and a coaster and you get, well, One quirky ride that does exactly what it is supposed to do.
I seen Big Bad Bob and im still shaking

This isnt much of a roller coaster. Its more of a themeing device. It is on rollecoaster tracks and in coaster cars. Its slow moving a has a mining theme of an old mining company. The entire ride is, yes you guessed it, underground. sometimes on the ride, your riding through complete blackness. This is deffinitley the ride for people who want to have some fun without a large amount of intensity.
