I just couldnt believe it. When I first saw Mean Streaks scaling 161 ft. height, the 155 ft. first drop, & a very long course, I thought that itd be the best woody that Ive ever experienced. Unfortunately, it may be a great visual, but a bad ride once youre on it. MS didnt even feel like it was going 65 m.p.h. It felt more like being only 50 m.p.h. The first drop wasnt that steep, but I expected it to be a great first drop still, but that was all ruined b/c of the 2 nasty trims during the first drop. I felt like I was still at the top of the lift hill. It was so slow & that caused MS to not having any airtime on it at all. The whole course was taken very slowly & it was mundane. Finally, the howling sound of the track was very annoying. It wasnt Mean Streaks roughness that killed the ratings b/c I love rough woodies. Im tired of all of these spoiled B&M fans who think that if its not a B&M coaster, its gonna be rough. Woodies were made to be rough & out of control. Thats what makes me love woodies more than steelies, but Mean Streaks definitely one woody that I dont love at all. Only ride MS once just to see how high the 161 ft. superstructure really is. To me though, MS was just a HUGE LETDOWN OF A MONSTER WOODY!!!
