Review of Mean Streak @ Cedar Point

geez, what a titanic stinker. one may enter this dwarfing edifice in an excited state, prepared for a righteous thrashing of unnatural g forces, then see the modest crowd of twenty or so people in line and feel that one has died and gone to wooden coaster heaven. but unfortunately, then one must actually ride the thing, which contains the thrills equivilent to sitting on a couch watching a coaster video while eating popcorn while babysitting an annoying five year old who keeps flicking the popcorn out of your hands before you can get it to your mouth. this coaster CRAWLS around the track, hindered by brakes in several spots. after the somewhat ok first drop (which was itself slowed by brakes), the train barely makes it up to the first turnaround. thats simply not right! this coaster was so slow and boring that i was able to take numerous pictures throughout with no fear of dropping my camera. my girlfriend and i were able to have a long CONVERSATION on this ride it was so lacking an appropriate fear factor for gorgeous woody of such monstrous dimensions. if lameness and suckiness were a fruit to be harvested, then id say that the fruit has ripened and that mean streak hath taken a bite.
a park such as cedar point could really use a modern and thrilling wood coaster. the old fashioned blue streak is a great coaster to have in the park, but it doesnt really wiegh in and make a strong statement for wood amidst all the steel theyve got going over there. i think many fans of roller coasters see cedar point as piling on the gimmicky rides and not providing any well-rounded four course meal coasters. mean streak appears to be that ride that could temper the cold blooded magnitude of cedar points giant record breakers, but rather its just a pathetic, melancholic teenager, punished in its bedroom in the backass end of the park. cedar point - use some of your dough to get this coaster running how it was supposed to. No excuses! we all know that dinn/summers woodies are pretty goofy and hard to maintain. stand by your investment and get the thing up and kicking ass. either that build something that will hold peoples interest beyond the first two seasons its opened.

Very humerous review, I must say I really enjoyed some of your comparisons.
