I would have to say that I was prepared for this not-so-great experience by reading many trip reports and reviews all over the web, especially those sites sponsered by CP fans. Anyway, I was impressed at the massive woodwork of the structure and hoped the ride was as good to ride as it was to look at. Well, it was one of the longest, tamest woodies I have ever ridden. They apparantly have went trim-crazy and have turned a great coaster into a lame coaster. Dont get me wrong, this coaster has it good qualities like some of the drops, banks, crossovers, etc, but I wasnt fond of the herky jerky speed. And the squealing of the trains as if they hadnt been oiled for months only added insult to injury. I just hope they realize what they have done to this ride and either re-do or un-do it to make it the ride that many loved when it debuted over a decade ago.
