This ride is an indoor Jokers Jinx. The theming is very effective. You dont hear the coaster at all until you are in the launch room. The ride is very effective in that you are totally disoriented following the launch. Like Jokers Jinx, the second half is less satisfying - particularly because of the park has chosen to include lighting in the enclosure. Had it been pitch black or lit similarly to Space Mountain, it could have been a spectacular experience.
re-reviewed (4/17/03) Last time I rode this, I had to endure OTSR. The lapbars are a great improvement. The interior lighting has also been change from a single incandescent spotlilght to more theatrical ligting - which works quite well. The launch and first third of the ride is totally disorienting. I give it an extra point for excellent queue theming.
