Good mine train coaster that easily was the best ride in the park. I love the landscaping around the ride and how the layout is completely concealed from view. The portion after the first lift hill was pretty dull in my opinion, except for one hill which gave a small pop of air. The portion after the second lift hill was great as the twisting drop was very good and the following two bunny hills gave small pops of air. Then came a nice, mist-filled tunnel and then another air-time producing bunny hill followed by two great helixes that had pretty good Gs. The whole ride was really smooth as well.
A decent length family coaster that runs through a lot of trees. From the back seat I noticed a couple a small pops of mild air, the final helix was pretty tight.
This is a mine train coaster, probably more comparable to Gold Rusher at Magic Mountain than to Big Thunder Mountain at Disneyland. It begins by going up a small lift hill that leads to some slow, kind of wobbly (for lack of a better word) track. This leads up to the main lift hill, which in turn leads to some medium-sized twisting drops, turns, and a spiral. There is some decent scenery along the way, but Id still give the edge to Gold Rusher for the overall ride itself. This and the West Coaster at the Santa Monica Pier are the only two coasters Ive ridden by Morgan, so Im waiting for the day when I get a better, more representative example of their work. This one is definitely good for families, though. Be prepared, however, to wait for every small child to have their height checked before boarding the train, which takes a lot of time.
its like the NorCal equivilant of Big Thunder, but just a little less well themed and fast.
Fun mine train ride, great scenery. Good for the whole family.
A decent, but short, two-lift mine train coaster. Interesting since it is the only mine train from Morgan. The scenery is great, and the twisting drop after the second lift is quite intense compared to the rest of the ride. There are also some fog-filled tunnel/houses the coaster winds through, a few bunny hops w/ head chopper built over them, and a 720 helix finale.
