Well, this was a trip for firsts. We wanted to do everything we had missed during our first trip 2 years ago. Unfortunately the weather forecasts didn't sound very promising. Saturday was supposed to be very windy, and Monday was going to be unbelievably hot.

First thing we did was drive to Primm. Desperado was in terrible condition, and the whole thing felt like it was about to fall apart. I promise I will update my desperado review soon. Unfortunately, turbo drop was down for maintenance. We found a discount coupon for adventure canyon, and decided to ride it once. The ride is O.K...

We stayed at the Mandalay Bay resort and Casino. Our room was fantastic. The pool area was beautiful. The pool area had a lazy river and a huge wave pool. I especially liked the white sand beach (no joke)

We visited the luxor on Friday night. We saw the IMAX movie "Sharks" and rode the motion simulator. We bought Tickets to the magic motion theatre at the Excalibur. The ride was fun, but it was nothing special. We also visited the aquarium at the Mandalay bay.

We did a lot of cool things - went to Red Rock Canyon and hiked, ate dinner at the Cheesecake Factory at Caesars Palace, went to "Mystere" at Treasure Island, saw a Carnivale show outside at Harrah's, went to In-N-Out Burger (mmmm....), M&M World, MGM Grand, Mirage, Treasure Island, Bally's, Rio, The Hilton, The Stardust, and The Hard Rock. BTW, the volcano at the mirage, and the fountains of the bellagio are must sees! We also visited the wynn. The wynn is an amazing casino.

We went to Star Trek: The Experience but it was Saturday afternoon and the line was an hour!!! So we stayed and gambled in the Space Quest casino which is just amazing. It's like gambling on board a giant Enterprise and all of the slot machines are futuristic. Instead of pulling a handle all of the machines have lasers that you pass your hand through to activate the spin. We had so much fun we ended up staying for over three hours, and by the time we left the line was even longer. BTW, Sara won 244$ on slots!!

We saw Kevin James on Saturday night at the Mirage. He is a great comedian, and definitely worth seeing. We had a bit of time left, and decided to visit Circus Circus and the Sahara. We rode both coasters only once. Both coasters were underwhelming.

On our last day, the big shot opened, because the winds had subsided! We decided to wait and ride it after dinner so we could have a great view of Las Vegas at night. Besides there were so many things we had planned to do and just didn't have time, so we figured we'd hit those places during the day and ride Manhattan Express and the Big Shot at night. Well, we went to Rio for dinner and decided to watch the Masquerade Show in the Sky. It was so cool!!

I called the Stratosphere and they said the tower would be running until 1:00 a.m. unless it rained. So after the show we decided to catch the exploding volcano at Mirage, then ride the Manhattan Express. Manhattan Express sucked as usual, but the stratosphere tower was exciting. Big shot was fun, and Insanity was a real treat. We also rode xscream. The tower has changed a bit since the removal of the high roller. I was surprised, they now have a bit of room to work with.

I played some poker at the Mandalay bay, won 52$ and crashed. The next morning we flew back to Denver. Oh well, the main thing we wanted to do during this trip was hit everything we missed during our trip in April, and we definitely did that!

We stayed up every night until 3:00 and were up by 8:00 a.m. I have blisters upon blisters. Las Vegas is an incredible city and the area is just filled with an endless amount of attractions. For those of you who haven't been to Las Vegas it's a marvelous area, even if you don't like to gamble. For me, Las Vegas is the perfect vacation place. It's got everything but the ocean, and the Mandalay Bay was able to simulate the ocean!! BTW, I loved Mandalay bay, I love VEGAS!

That it is. Vegas is more than just gambling. There is so much to do for everyone. In fact, we did very little gambling.
