Six Flags blew up the Wildcatter, their first-generation Intamin freefall and the first one too. The 128ft tall drop tower will be replaced with Tony Hawk's Big Spin. Too bad these Intamin first-generation freefalls are going. From what I've heard they still provide a very intense and good ride.

I never got to ride this ride. I hope they replace it with something better.

I said in my review that it was being replaced with Tony Hawk's Big Spin.

According to wikipedia (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freefall_(ride)
), Demon Drop and Freefall at Magic Mountain are the only two in the US still operating even though they are listed for sale. There are two more in Japan at Central Park and at Toshimean.

I really hate to see these 1st Gen freefalls go. They're such a trip.
