Bodfunland captured some images of these beauties down in Atlanta:
Could that be a Lusse, at a carnival none the less? Joe, you've got to fill us in on these. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck...

I'm honestly not sure.
I really wanted to say Lusse based upon
this ad
, but at the same time, the front ends look more like something from the Dodgem Company which was eventually sold to the Herschell Company, so it could be either of those.
A 1929 model I recently found on eBay:
An ad for the Hershell version:
They hit pretty hard but still weren't as good as THE Skooters.
Interesting fact: I took a girl out on a date the other night and we stopped by the bumper cars to she if she's worth more dates

^Great idea about the bumper cars BFun. When I was single I asked the coaster question first conversation. If they said no it was not worth persuing.

It's an interesting question. Not that I want to come across know ing allot about bumper cars I don't. I do know ther are a few companies that copy those designs. any chance there an 80's remake?

It wasn't so much whether or not she likes this kind of stuff, but more or less if 1. she can drive a bumper car well and 2. she can take a hit
She passed both, and I'll see her again in a couple of days

Next date: Star Flyer
The fronts and the bumper are the same reason why I too don't think they are Lusse. There are just so many of those cars that I have seen that look like that, and they are certainly not all Lusse.
