A few years ago, my brother started calling Jenkinson's "The Crappy Amusement Park". Would anybody else agree with that statement?

a few seconds ago I started calling this thread the Crappiest Amusement Park Thread.
No, I don't agree with that statement because I don't consider Jenkinson's an Amusement Park

No, no, it is kind of an amusement park. In case you don't know what I mean, I'm talking about where Flitzer is. The place is small, but I'm positive that it is an amusement park.

I know what you are getting at but I just don't count kiddie parks as amusement parks

You mean Jenkinson's on the Jersey Shore - Seaside Heights? Nope. They've got a Seriously great fun house. And the Floyd Moreland carousel isn't to be overlooked.
Maybe it isn't the end-all be-all of amusement places, but it's still a lot of fun.

I think my brother started calling it "The Crappy Amusement Park" just to make me laugh. I can't convince him because he's deceased. It's not much more other than the fun house. Maybe the Flitzer, but I don't know any other thrilling attractions at Jenk's.

Eh, it is just a boardwalk kind of thing. Just a pier kind of attraction.
Flitzer's are a dime a dozen.

Jenkinsons, for the exception of the funhouse that I have never been in but seems to be generally lauded, is a high class rip off. Their rides are too short, expensive, and theres not many good ones. For kids it's a wonderland, for me it's a dive.
The Spinout is the only good thing and that isn't even that good itself! The Flitzer is a larger version that is pretty boring. Finally, they got rid of their Rock-O-Plane and replaced it with a Moby Dick which was a HUGE NO-NO!

It doesn't matter if it's only a park for children. It's still an amusement park. I like all amusement parks big and small and I don't like when people criticize a park and call it crappy because it makes a park look bad. If you don't like it that's you're opinion but you could point out some good things about any amusement park. It's a good amusement park for children 12 and under. Not all parks can have huge roller coasters. They don't have the money to build them if people don't visit the park.
