I agree, that's one of the coolest sights around.

(I wish I got a better shot from a distance to truly illustrate that point)

well you will love Kennywood also. Very classic feel, good flats fun coasters, good food, the best lemonade and if you like SkyScrapers I think Kennywood has the lowest cost of the major parks.

Yeah, we were mostly looking to pick 2 out of these 3 - Hershey, Kennywood, and Dorney. I think Dorney was the most expensive, and it was pretty much unanimous that it looked the least unique of the bunch. I would definitely like to get there someday, don't get me wrong, but for now I'm content to experience Hershey and Kennywood.

of course Knoebels would have been an excellent choice also. There really is a lot to do in PA.

Yeah, PA gives OH a serious run for it's money in terms of being the best state for parks - in fact, if I had to say which is better, I would probably go with PA.

Actually Animan1, Hersheypark's the most expensive park out of the three b/c it's $41.95. Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom's only $36.95.

Ah, right you are, good spot. I must have remembered the prices wrong, or they changed since I last looked them up, but the former seems more likely. Thanks for pointing that out.

hershey coupons are plentiful in summertime. check in grocery stores or gas stations once you drive into the vicinity of the park. i think it helped get the admission down to 35 bucks or so for me last year.
