Which one do ya'll think's better? To me, both of them are airtime monsters & I really enjoyed riding both of them. It's really gonna be a tough decision for me, but I'm going to give this one to PR b/c it's just very fast & a lot of fun. Magnum XL-200 was great too & is truly a classic hyper, but PR's first 2 drops are just unbeatable. The airtime on PR was just crazy & it's also so smooth. My first ride on Magnum wasn't that great b/c my left leg got slammed on a lot of hills, but my 2nd ride was better b/c I learned to just embrace it. It was very close, but PR prevails on this one.

Not even close PR is easily the better coaster.

I love them both. It's a closer call for me, but I'm going with Phantom's Revenge. Magnum XL-200 is longer, but Phantom Revenge's airtime is as good or better, and its first and second drops are phenomenal. I also think PR has better rolling stock and makes better use of its surroundings. These are the only steel coasters in my top 10.

The scenary is really helpful on PR. My last ride on Magnum felt slow compared to the past.

interesting that people always lump these together. i guess PR has arrow roots from the same period as magnum. but i can see a deeper parallel, these seem to be the really untamed steel hypers, popular with wood coaster nuts too. i put magnum in my top ten and not PR, but i don't know why, both have the same score.....top tens are pretty arbitrary. maybe if i could beam between the two like captain kirk i could do a real pepsi challenge. they both rip.

I like Magnum, I like how it gives you a rough ride kind of like a wooden where it jerks you around a lot but also gives you the speed and intensity of a steel coaster.

I prefer Magnum XL-200 to Phantom's Revenge. It's longer and gives you more air time and I love the tunnels and bunny hops.
