No sorry I didn't take any pictures of the Himlayas. I assume they were owned by Amusements of America.
I remember the Musik Express didn't have a backdrop seperating the front and back sections of the ride. The older swinging Himalaya was a Chance Alpine Bobs.

Great report and pics, Horizons - cool that you went on that Scorpion ride... I just knew, looking at it, that I wouldn't be able to stomach it. Meadowlands doesn't kid around when it comes to running their flats... :puke:

I'll tell you, I saw on Dave's Ride Extravaganza that the webmaster (Dave I assume) went on a 6 minute long Scorpion. The less than 1 minute cycle one at the Med Fair was almost too much; I can't imagine that I would even be able to find the exit after 6 minutes.
