When I went to SFA this weekend, I remembered that I found the restraints uncomfortable on the Mind Eraser. It seems to be something of an ear banger as well. Big-headed people may want to stay away! (Also try to avoid really hot days-those restraints can stink of sweat!)

Anyone ever ride Flight of Fear before they switched the trains to a lap bar? It was basically a one-time ride and you were begging for Tylenol when you got off. When it gets to the point that your neck gets a workout from bracing for the tight turns and inversions, the ride's probably too rough. Thank God they installed lap bars!

It certainly is a painful and stinky ride

Definitely Manhattan Express in Vegas, arrow corkscrews are also very rough.I enjoy rough wooden coasters, Mean Streak I found not to be that rough.I've ridden Gwazi lately in the back row and it's definitely a rough ride but I love it!!

Rolling Thunder right track has like...potholes or something in the track. It wasn't just rough the last time I went on, it was downright bone jarring.

Backseat on GASM while entering the first loop also hurts due to some weird downward jolt. But if you keep your head down then you wont have it seemingly jammed down into your sholders lol.

I don't know why, but I can't really ride Himalaya's any more. They really hurt my neck in forward motion.

Some of those old Himalayas with the swinging cars can be bad; their almost always rough.

The roughest coasters I have ever gone on are the Wildcat at Hersheypark, the Wildcat at Lake Compounce, and the Nightmare at The Great Escape!

I didn't like the Wildcat at Hershey the first time I rode it- it seemed rough and the whole structure moved when the wind blew. However, upon further rides, I did come to really like it.

Haha, so true. When I worked there there were SO many injuries on that ride. If you knew how to ride it, it wasn't that bad. You shoulnd't need to know "how" to ride a coaster though lol. My vote is an easy Manhattan Express @ New York New York in Vegas. I have been on Viper / Hurricane / SFGA Scream Machine etc....MExpress just has it in for me....

Weird...two coasters named 'The Hurricane' are my choices...

The Hurricane at the Myrtle Beach Pavilion beats the sh*t out of you. All 50 or so times I've ridden that thing, my head has suffered severe brain damage. So rough! I blame my bad grades on that ride. Still one of the best coasters ever though

The Hurricane at Playland Park in Rye, NY is a peice of crap. No fun there, just a beating. Thank God they tore it down.

Viper at SFGA was the worst one I ever rode. When I got off, I felt like Mike Tyson just punched me in the shoulders for an hour straight.

Nothing will ever be worse then the Cyclone at SFNE back seat.

Yes, that's exactly what I think...although I don't think it's all that intense, just fun. But I've seen some comments saying the corkscrews are rough. I think that kind of expectation is way too high.

The corkscrews arent rough at all. Yeah, their a little jerky, but thats just because (I think) that their too small. People are just so spoiled these days.

True the older corkscrews arn't the same size as todays. also Arrow has a problem with warping over time.

The Psyclone at SFMM in any seat is far worse!

I've taken a beating on CP's Corkscrew, but week-old ear piercings aren't generally OTSR-friendly anyway.

Otherwise, I'd say Mean Streak. Sometimes it's fine, but other times it's left my back aching for a week, which is too bad because I enjoy riding it.

My roughest ride ever, was the Wildcat at Hershey Park. Every seat was a blender, and I even sat in the front, and I had a head-ache the rest of the day. Nothing will ever be rougher than the Wildcat at Hershey Park. They need to add GCI Millenium Flyer trains, and the ride would be very smooth, and a top ten coaster for me, but I know Hershey Park won't change that, because a lot of people enjoy rough coasters.

I second that. I just rode it last week and my review should be: Ouch.

I got off grabbing my 26 year-old hip. It isn't like I'm old and fragile. But I felt more like a 62-year old after that thing. Ugh.
