Here are some of my defunct ride reviews:

Hercules at DP - I'd give this ride a 7 b/c it's a OK woody, but it's rough in some spots & it didn't have a lot of airtime except for the 1st drop, & even the 1st drop's airtime wasn't all that b/c of the trims that were there. I love rides w/that ferocious out of control feeling b/c that's what makes it fun & has character to it. I probably thought that Hercules was rough b/c I had only rode this in the back seat. The ride though had a unique layout. It's still the fastest & longest woody that I've ever been on to this day. I'll miss Hercules, but I'm glad that Hydra: the Revenge's there now & I can't wait to ride it this summer.

Whirwind at Knoebels - I know that it was relocated to a Puerto Rican amusement park, but I'll count it as defunct. I really didn't enjoy this ride at all. It was just too boring. All the layout had was just a drop, corkscrew, right turn, drop, corkscrew, another turn around the tree, & then the brakes. I don't even know why I was afraid to ride this when I was 12. This ride only gets a 4 from me only b/c it was the only adult steel looper that Knoebels ever had.

Ok if these rides no longer exist, why are people still reviewing them?

Ok this is what they are talkign about. the site itself dosn't have a catigory within the parks that ofers the ability to review the Defunct rides. for Example Viper at SFOG or The origanal Canobie Queen at Canobie lake park. it woudl be fun to be able to rate these older atractions and so people can see how good or bad they were. the reviews also woudl not affect the park rating.

Its also a sentimentality type of thing and allows people to read them and say, "Oh,yeah, I used to love that ride!" or "I remember that one."

Not a problem. It's hard to think of how may ride were on and off this site in the last 4 years. you woudl be amazed. then there's the parks and rides you loved but arn't around.

Oh, well instead of using the word "defunct" how about they use something more like "No longer exists!" to help people out.

I hope you are kidding, or are you planning to go through life with a 100 word vocabulary.

FYI: your vocabulary is the compilation our words you know, use and understand

and compilation means a group or list

mrc- I think the large smile was in her original quote. I don't know if he is serious or not.

i'm suprised this came back. maybe the extra interest will get this added to the park reviews one day.

I also sugested being able to review aspects of the park food, landscaping, staff, maintanince, themeing, atmosphere, etc. that woudl also averageintoth eparks overall rating. so parks ratign would be more acurate.

It's OK, it's hard to tell whether someone is male or female on the internet when you dont hear their real voice or see a picture, could have happened to anyone.

It also seems like the women here are relatively few and far between.
