This is a reminder to anyone that is interested:
What: Palm Sunday the the Cyclone
When: Sunday, March 20 noon to 4PM
Where: Astroland, Coney Island, NY
Who: Ace members and guests
The Deal: Ace members and their guests can ride all rides at Astroland from Noon till 4PM for just 10.99. Meet at the group sales booth across from the Cyclone by 11:45 and present your membership card for the discounted wristbands.
Since I am the inclusive type, and will be there, anyone who is not a member and would like to join in can be my guest. Just meet me there by 11:45 and I will get you in. Please bring cash. I will be wearing a maroon Waldameer Park hoody. If it is really cold I may have a grey jacket over that.
Please post here if you plan on coming.

I'm going to try to make it. I'll follow-up with an update as we get closer to the date. I know I said I was going to try to make it the Blue Diamond last summer, but a hangover and bad weather got in the way. Anyway the Cyclone is much closer and it is The Cyclone.

Funny concept, but knowing him, it wouldn't do any good anyhow... he abhors coasters. In fact, I'm glad you brought it up - I'll be heading out alone, as it ends up. Barring snow and sub-zero temperatures, nothing keeps me away from Coney...

Well, Sunday is looking mostly cloudy and a high in the low 40's. Very doable, and that could change since it is still six days out.

If I decide to bring one more person I'll e-mail you on Saturday in case you don't check here. I don't know what sweatshirt/jacket I'll be wearing becasue of the weather but I'll be wearing my Knoebels bucket hat.

Really looking forward to this - I actually didn't even get to ride the Cyclone last season, so I'm way overdue. I'll definitely meet you there - I'll have on a blue jacket with yellow stripes down the sleeves, and a backpack with Knoebels patches on it. Very cool way to spend a Sunday.

I can't aford it. I did work these last coupleof days but they messed up on my pay and I don't have the money.
So all of you have a great time. I want trip reports. Drive safly and be carfull it may snow late in the day.
