I plan to go to SFNE opening day, but i have a few questions first.

How will the crowds be? Has anyone been to a park on opening day?

And rides. Will all the main rides be open, like Scream, Superman Batman etc...?

Thanks.

I dunno about the rides, but the crowds shouldn´t be too bad. They usually aren´t until July, when everyone´s outa school. Plus as you know the park opens in April, and with the winter we´ve been having, there will probably still be snow on the ground. Have fun!!!

I went to opening day two years ago. Crowds were very light, dispite the perfect weather. Superman and Batman were all running just one train, so expect the same. We waited on average 20 minutes for Superman, though I would double or even triple that with the new restraints. Batman was never more then 10 minutes, everything else was a walk-on. All of the coasters were open.

There's not too many locals here, so you may want to try SFNE Central Forums. You're the one that's supposed to tell us stuff like that

Forget that site.

I have been to SFNE a few times openignday. Crowds are moderate it depends on the weather. still no were near as bad as summer time.

Rides are a gamble. Suprman will be open so will batman. all other rides are questionable. openign day two years agoe many rides were shut down including Screana dn Tamahawk. many of the coasters didn't open or opened late.

You are, once again, wrong. I was there opening day the same year, and every coaster was open, and open on time. Some rides like Tomahawk, were not open, but all of the coasters were.

Well you two obviously go on the same opening day. It wouldn´t surprise me if a few coasters were down this year. You just got lucky.

Why do you say that? Do you have some sort of insider information? Are you working with the crew that is opening the park this year? Or is this simply more Six Flags bashing because it is the in thing to do?

Well, I do agree with Cyclonic. there isnt a reason why the coasters wouldn't be open.

Also, do you think Pandemonium will be ready by then?

No I have never worked at the park, but just about every time I´ve gone at least one of ém has been down. I´m not bashing Six Flags for no reason, that´s just been my experience so it´s a logical conclusion for me to make.
