Just back from Disney World. Kind of a short trip since I was visitng grand parents, but it was Ok. *Note-This was first time anyone in my family hand been there in over 30 years(me-never), so if we made a wrong decision at some point, don't yell !!
We got there around 9, got our tickets, and got in around 9:30. We got a Fastpass for Space Mountain right away (because we heard so much about it), then we spent time on Splash Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain. Great rides, not BTM. See reviews below. We then got lunch at Columbia Harbor House, which their fish sticks are AWESOME, then we got a Fastpass for Haunted Mansion. It was around the time slot for our S. M. Fastpass, so we headed there. This ride was awesome. See review below.
We spent some time in the awesome arcade by the exit to SM, then we headed to Fantasyland. On our way throught, we passed through Liberty Island (again) and did the House of Presidents and Splash Mountain (again), and finally hit Fantasyland.
It was dark, around 6, when we finally got to Fantasyland, and lines were short, so we went on It's A Small World (ugghh...)and on Mickey's Philharmagic twice. AWESOME. Then we went down to Adventureland. We had dinner at Pecos Bill's Cafe, and went on Pirates of the Caribbean. After that, we just had enough time to get to SpectroMagic and then get home
Reviews
Space Mountain- Heard it was old, doesn't look it. Great experience, awesome ride. = 9/10
Splash Mountain- CLASSIC. Great story, great animatronics, great everything. Loved it.= 10/10
Big Thunder Mountain- One of Diney's two flaws. They make it look like a thrillster, but it's not. No real drops, but good theming.= 6/10
It's A Small World- The second of Disney's two flaws. It fits perfectly in Fantasyland, but it's SO boring and the song is SO annoying. PLEASE TAKE IT AWAY!!= 3/10
Haunted Mansion- Great effects, great feel, nice beginning (before the doom buggies).= 8/10
Mickey's Philharmagic- Great 3D effects, and real life effects. Loved Goofy in the beginning. Great show. = 9/10
Pirates of the Caribbean- Awesome. Great realism and animatronics. Watch out for the surprise jump!= 8/10
