Actually, I might have to throw in The Beast to my list, because I remember reading that RL Stine Goosebumps book that was about it and it made me want to ride it.

Superman: Ride of Steel (SFNE - looks incredible!)
Superman: Krypton Coaster (SFFT - that thing looks insane!)
Phoenix (Knoebels - can you say, AIRTIME?!?)
Shivering Timbers (Michigan's Adv. - Just look at it!)
Thunderhead (Dollywood - I think no explanation is needed!)
And, for good measure, here's 2 that aren't even open yet that look simply stellar:
Hydra: The Revenge (DP - unique + twisted + B&M =  )
SheiKra (BGT - when I saw the layout, my jaw dropped!!)

For me it's far more then 5 but her I go. All other Coasters at park would be on my want to ride list.

I can't wait to ride this bad boy when I study abroad in Rome. I'll be able to tell you whether it is the best or not first hand.

I really doubt that Katun is the best invert out there, Tacoking.
I haven't ridden Katun, and I don't think anybody here has. However, as many of you know I think this, Montu is BY FAR the best invert out there. Katun is a little bit taller. However, the straight drop looks boring (I love Montu's twist). It has one less inversion - more importantly, it has the standard B+M inversions while Montu has an immelman and a batwing. The theming on Katun looks cool, but does not look like it compares to Montu's or even DD's. Overall it looks big and impressive, but Katun looks a bit too BLAH. After Montu, I really liked Volcano The Blast Coaster as well. Katun doesn't look like it lives up to either of these, and I don't know how you can say it is the best invert.

We really can't, but I just can't wait to ride it when I head over there. I really hope that it is going to be great. I have not ridden Montu, so I won't be able to compare the two, but I just hope that Katun lives up to what everyone says and thinks it does.

I am the luckiest person around... like the third time this week I went to RCDB to look for something and the coaster I was looking for was the random draw
I looked at photos of Katun, I haven't looked at it much before, and from the appearence I would say that it is a blit bland as well. The temple themeing looks nice, but nothing sticks out as exemplary. It has a short underground tunnel and goes 65 mph, but it also does do that strait drop that to me isn't cool on Inverts. That actually kinda reminds me of a bigger Raptor, a coaster that I know you aren't too fond of.

That zero-g roll is HUGE. Then the turn into the cobra roll looks sweet. It seems like the last half of the ride is very close to the ground, which is cool.
Plus, the layout looks cool, and the theming looks decent.

I think that you guys will have to ride them to fully get it, like I said in the thread about Sheikra, Montu and Hulk. There is no sense in arguing about something, if it is just about "looks". Once you have experienced them, then you can fight about which one is superior.

This coming from someone who has himself had quite a few crappy ones, but c'mon, how many times do you have to post "I like it" or "I agree"
