The Olde Kennywood Railroad is a train. It is average speed, fun, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duration. It is a good family ride that provides good view of park.

What a nice way to get a view of the river, the steel mill, and the park. Plus you get a little history tour in the process. What is up with that Laughing Sal?

Great train ride. The best part is the mini history lesson along the way. The different scenes of history make this a must do for all ages. Nice view of river below. Nice way to sit back and have fun. The laughing lady outside is annoying!

Yes, its a great train ride, with the nice scenery, layout, and seeing the picnic groves. Though, I wish that Kennywood would retheme the ride. The Pennsylvania History theme, is getting a bit long in the tooth, in my opinion. Its a great family ride, and also to break away, from the faster paced rides.

Great way to cool off or usually in my case, dry off from the Raging Rapids It has a lot of history of Pittsburgh and the surrounding area with statues and other effects to aid the telling of the history. You get nice views of Kiddieland, especially the Panther (?) Cars. You also get the coolest view of the river (Monongahaela???). Plus, no one in Kennywood greets you into a queue line better then Laffin Sal!

I like the scenery and the tunnel.

This was a very enjoyable train ride. Nice course through the trees with neat views of the back of the park that you cant see. Good change-up from the parks thrilling rides.

This ride is just ok. Yeah, its nice to relax a bit, and yeah, its cool to hear about the history, but I think if they fixed up the props, and added a bit more itd be 10 times better.

Average rank for an average train. i couldnt here all the stuff they were saying on the train but what i caught was pretty interesting. okay layout.

A great change of pace. The Kennywood Railroad is a very fun, old fashioned railroad thats definitely worth a ride.
