Montu is a purple B&M invert. Based on the egyptian god of war Menthu. The orginal plans for this ride was to go in and out of a prymid.

Montu starts out with a small dip as many B&Ms do. Then you head up the one hundred and fifty foot tall chain lift. The big drop then happens reaching speeds of over 60 MPH. There is massive loop with 3.85 Gs. There is a small tunnel and an immleman. The zero g roll then occurs delivering a little bit of airtime. The frist batwing ever on an inverted coaster happens. Then there are the mid course breaks. The second loop then occurs followed by a series of three helixs and a downward hill. Then there is the coekscrew and an banked upward hill. The final brakes then occur.
Montu is an excellent invert not my favorite though. This ride is not that popular, for example on a day in late July this ride had a twenty minute wait in the afternoon. This ride is worth about a thrity minute wait. They built a huge que for this ride that goes under the zero g roll but, this section is never used.
