This was the worst possible thing that they could do to the Old Mill, a Kennywood icon. I was so stupid. ARG! Enough said.

Ill admit that Ive never actually been on the Old Mill when it was there, but I swear that it mustve been ten times better than this piece of crap. I didnt even write a review of this ride, but from what I remember riding this stupid thang two years ago, I wouldnt give it a higher rating than a 3. All they did was just put up cardboard drawings of the Garfield & Friends Characters & the 3-D glasses didnt do a dag on thing to enhance the ride experience either. Bring back the Old Mill & trash this piece of garbage.

RCGenius: Yes, the Old Mill was indeed much better than the all-new comic themed piece of crap. I could not agree with you more. The old mill was sorta like Gold Rusher, except a bit less scary. (The gold rusher isnt that scary either, but still fun) These rides both have a sort of charm, and simplicity that Garfields Nightmare abolished. Garfields Nightmare, in my opinion, belongs in Kiddieland with the Old Mill restored, or some other darkride that is actually DARK.
