Im somewhat surprised by all the praise for this log flume. It was certainly okay, but definitely far from the greatest example Ive ever seen. It did start with a cruise through a tunnel made up of concrete walls. The thing is, there were no effects in here and Im not even sure I noticed any kind of slanting or dipping as others have reported. We then had a small hill and drop, followed by a short cruise around outside at ground level, with the concrete slabs again making up the trough. It climbed a taller hill, we meandered around for a bit above ground, and then came the larger drop, which was fun, but I really didnt get that wet. Overall Id say the Hydro Surge river raft was much better for a drenching than this, and the Log Flume at the nearby Family Kingdom even edged this one out for the enjoyment of the ride itself. I wonder if I just caught this on an off day, or if it has been permanently changed in the last couple of years.
