Splash itself is pretty cool and themed very well. Splash at night with 12 full grown adults in one log is pretty wild! While you used to not get too wet unless you are in the front, the water canons have spread the water-lovin fun across the logs. The storyline is done well through the very long ride and its always funny to have the little drops get people wetter than the big one. Overall a sweet ride, but it just inst quite as nice as Ripsaw in my book (though most seem to disagree)

when those logs have some good weight, its tons of fun, especially with larger guests on one side and the smaller ones on the other. Looks funny going past spectators after the main drop when ur log looks like its sinking.

I have always said I like the actual ride better on Ripsaw, but the theming is so much better on Splash that it makes it the better attraction.

Solid review BobFunland, but Ive got to agree with Coaster05 on this one. I havent been on the Ripsaw Falls before because when I went to IOA last year, I didnt want to get completely drenched, but I do remember the experience of Splash Mountain very well back when I was 10. The theming of its simply incredible as it had a great storyline, the drops were great despite its short size, & it was a nice long log flume. I really loved Splash Mountain seven years ago & I wished that I could go back & ride the marvel attraction again.
