Seeing as the ride is being removed, I better add my review. I did not review it immediately after my trip this past August becuase I did not ride it... this time. I remember riding this sucker during my first visit to the park in 1996 (I believe thats the year, if not 1995). The flume was pretty good, it got you wet, and on those hot, steamy summer days in the Tennessee Valleys, it is recommended remedy to the heat. The ride itself is quite old, and probably not the best, but it still accomplishes its goal of saturation (though not the best, merely substantial). I didnt think it was as much of an eyesore as others, but I do remember the drop scaring the living daylights out of me so long ago, and the images of the plunge still exist in my cerebrum. The ride is worth about a 6 in my mind, not the worst, nor the best.
