One of the best B&M Coasters ever conceived and built. Definetly the best roller coaster in the state of Florida if not the world!

This guy needs to go on Kraken!

Kraken is great, but not better than the Hulk.

Have you even been on Kraken?

Kraken is much better than Hulk. Especially now, since Hulk got rougher and needs a paint job.

I was recently on both - both excellent (and both pretty smooth) but Ill give the Hulk a bit of an edge, based on the big oomph at the beginning and it felt a little faster through the inversions.

Yes I have been on Kraken.

Why havent you reviewed it or have it in your ride tracker?

oh crap, lol, totally forgot about the ride tracker thing. never thought of reviewing on it. i just went on it for the first time a couple weeks ago.

Kraken is arguably the best engineered coaster ever. I never felt one bump on that ride, and its elements are perfect.

All true. But as time goes on bumps will appear.

B&M I have to agree with you that the ride is AMAZINGLY engineered. When I went on it the first year it opened, smooth as glass. I recently went on it again and it didnt age AT ALL! Hulk, on the other hand, is much rougher then in 98. It seemed as if one car was much rougher then the other car. One car was smooth as silk, but the other was rough as heck. Could have been the wheels or a bad day....but both are amazing rides. Hulk still gets the nod because of its beginning

When I went last month I noticed Hulk got a lot rougher. It just didnt seem to be as good anymore.

Believe it or not the Hulk is still not rough. Yes it has gotten rougher since it opened, but its still a great ride.

i didnt go on neither of them, but i think that if their a B&M, theyre smoother than TOGO
tacoking on 9/20/2003 11:33:24 AM said:
well duh. there not that rough(hulk and kraken)
B&M Rider on 9/20/2003 3:14:45 PM said:
I know Hulks not "Jesus Christ my ears are bleeding!" rough, but it has gotten significantly rougher. Id love it if the ride ended after the 5th inversion. The ride seems to go downhill from there, and while it is still a good ending compared to other coasters, it is still a letdown. Kraken is just perfect. They couldve had some more scenery but the ride is just amazing.
tacoking on 9/20/2003 8:23:42 PM said:
I know its gotten rough. No denying that. but the ending on it is like any other B&M coaster. There is no let down there.
B&M Rider on 9/23/2003 7:39:08 PM said:
The ending is not like any B&M coaster. There are extra turns added in and a boring helix. It only has one inversion after the midcourse brake run, and I think the ride would be a lot better if it took out a couple of turns and maybe added an 8th inversion.

Personally, B&M I like the Hulk better than the Kraken.
