This is a very intense experience, my favorite coaster of all time, it would be a ten if it was longer! Another example of the coaster masterpiece
makers we call intamin!

Just want to let you know. Intamin isnt that great of a company. Their rides constantly break down in the first year of operaiton. Takes them awhile to fix stuff.

What are you talking about?? Intamin is one of the best coaster companies there are!

I didnt say they were a bad company. Just their new ideas and prototypes always open way later than expected. At least 6 months. Then they have other problems later on. Superman The Escape At SFMM perfect example. Also when they first built Freefall at SFMM it had problems. And the ever famous Shockwave which was at SFMM sometime in the 80s (now relocated to some other SF) was a mechanics nightmare. Just a few examples. I can name more too if you ask. And from other places too besides a SF so dont go blaming SF for the problems.

LOTS of companies have problems with their prototypes. B&M and Air, Vekoma and their flyers/Deja Vu, Arrow and X, S&S and Hypersonic...

That is true. But Inatamins rides far exceed the other companies with their problems. Take longer to fix and they have problems with all of them. The other companies are usually a ride or 2. Not every single prototype. And B&M really doesnt belong in this list. Everything works fine for them. Its a rarety for a B&M to have problems.

Intamin does have problems with their rides but take a look at Vekoma and the horrible job they have done with their prototypes. All 3 flying coasters have problems and they still do. During the first season of operation the Deja Vu clones stalled on numerous occasions, and the Hammerhead stall that was supposed to open in 2001 still isnt open! Although Superman:the Escape had problems, they are fixed along with the problems associated with Freefall. I have not heard of the problems with Shockwave (now Batman: the Escape at SFAW) though. Intamin isnt the most reliable company, but I definitely wouldnt say that they have the most problematic rides either. If you wanna know about a mechanics nightmare check out TOGOs Windjammer. None of Intamins rides can even compare to that waste of metal.

And you are right, B&Ms rides rarely, if ever, have problems. The only one was Air, but that problem was minor and was fixed only a couple of weeks after opening.

Not anymore. I believe since they started the Lanching stuff after realizing the problems with Superman TE. Its been smoothe. Xcelerator is running nicely. To name one. I do believe they were the worst though. And on the B&M comment, I believe thats why so many SF are putting in B&M coasters this year. After a rocky year of problems they want something reliable. The only thing I havnt ridden is a Flyer. Someday hopefully one will get to MM or MW.
