Date Ridden: June 2007 Times Ridden: 2 (middle of the train and 3rd from the back.)
Im not going to bore everyone with a long drawn out review. Everyone has written virtually everything possible to describe this unbelievable ride. I only got two rides in because we only had 4 hours to spend in the park. As some of you know from my other reviews, my ride partner and I took a trip up the east coast and over to ohio riding the top 10 (actually 9 since GeForce is across the pond) steel coasters in the world according to the 2006 Golden Tickets. We rode Montu in January, got Goliath at SFOG in May and were heading up the coast to ride Nitro and Great Adventure and Superman at New England. We only had 4 hours in the park since we still had a 4 hour drive to get to Superman that day. Plus with rain all morning none of the rides were operating except Batman for the first 90 minutes. However, as the rain stopped and rides begin opening up I kept listening for the air horn which sounds before ET starts operating. We were just getting off Medusa when it went off and we sprinted over to get in line. The line for the front was backed up and we had already decided we were gonna go for the first available seat toward the back and in the middle if we got two rides. We did and everything people have said about this ride is 100 percent correct. One thing that does put me in the minority however is that on both rides, neither of were STAPLED in!! We had plenty of room and the air time was unbelievable. I think the best was the drop into the twister segment. So thats about it. I wont bore you anymore saying the same stuff over and over. El Toro is a 10 if there has ever been a 10. Intamin is king of coaster builders...blah blah...etc....and so on.... Tomorrow Ill try to do a little better in the review department with Thunderhead at Dollywood.
