 Review of Kali River Rapids @ Animal Kingdom

I liked the ride, but it wasnt worth the wait. I waited 1 1/2 hours! And you dont even get wet! But the scenery was well done, and the drop looks HUGE (actually, its a 10 foot drop whoopee...) I wuld recommend this ride if you like these kinds of rides and there is a 30 hour or less line, otherwise not worth your time.

WOW when were you there. I have never waited more than 30 minutes and a few times it was a walk on. I rarely get wet but I go on with my wife and she is a water magnet. The drop is actually 25 ft (saw it on a Disney documentary about AK)

I am bummed about this ride. I have no idea why AK couldnt create an attraction on par with Grizzly River Run at DCA. That is a much better ride. And Popeyes Bilge Rat Barges at IOA is just amazing. Imagine how much better AK would be if this raft ride was worth a damn.

Yes, IOA = Islands of Adventure in Orlando. Popeyes is the best rapids ride I have ever been on by a wide margin.
