 Review of Ghost Hunt @ Lake Compounce

This is a revision...because I gave this ride a 5 to start and I will maintain that I thought it was a 5 for a couple of years, but during this last visit, I really learned to appreciate what Ghost Hunt is all about. That and my gun wasnt broken this time. It really brought out the competitive spirit in me. That and I really wanted to shoot everything just to see what it did. So Ive really come to like this ride in spite of myself, but it makes sense. Sally + Dark Ride = Good.

Gost hunt has ony been their about 3 years. it is more of a game then it is a scarry ride. and my mother loves this ride.

I agree with that. thow the Mine of lost souls cost 6 mill just to update it. The morph/merror effect and the falling rockes are just a few of the recycled effects from the old ride. Gost hunt was the first of its kind and it cost 2 mill. the savings is the cost of Boulder dash and the water park expantion.

And what is this "old ride" that you speak of that came before MOLS?

Well there were acualy two, an old Pritzel dark ride that was on the site of the antique cars now. the one before the MOLS was just the Hounted mine.same cars, sme track layout, thow you went forom deforent seam to sean. their were Wolves in the wals at the begining. the falling rockes, a pirate ship with (Skelitons and wind)the Merror efect turneg a guy into a skeliton. alot scaryer then the new version but not as high tech.
thow the ride was driven deforently and peaple used to get out of the car.
had some Guy get in my car ask if he could tag along then get out befor the end out the ride. scarred me haf to delf
