Great America Evacuated

This has to go in the file for the biggest set of morons, and its a shame for people who actually went to the park to ride the rides.

Paramounts Great America theme park in Santa Clara was evacuated and closed several hours tonight after a fight broke out that left several parkgoers injured...

...Soud said park officials decided to shut the gates earlier and clear out the crowds as a safety precaution. KCBS radio reported that Santa Clara police dressed in riot gear escorted hundreds of parkgoers into the parking lot, where many waited for their parents to pick them up. :rolleyes:

I thought a vist to the amusement park was suppose to be fun but I guess I was wrong!!! This just goes to show that you can't take anybody anywhere without them acting a ass!!!

I am frequently trying to prove that theme parks and ammusment parks are safe places to go. Now all I can say the RIDES are safe.

The thing is they can'tmake them 100% safe. but its a shame a few jurks hade to distroy the night fot every other park goer. Over crouwding is one thing that couses these problems.
