Strat Still Getting Oposition

More arguing yet over the creatation of the new ride at the Stratosphere in Las Vegas, seems that nobody can get along when it comes to this thing, and it looks like its getting ugly...

Brown declined to say whether the property would resurrect a King Kong-themed ride if the City Council rejects the proposed thrill ride. City officials approved the King Kong project several years ago, and Brown said he could still build it, even though he agrees it would be unsightly.

He also suggested it is possible that the Stratosphere would withdraw its financial support for construction of a monorail project that would connect downtown Las Vegas and the Strip if the City Council rejects the thrill ride proposal.

Ahh, so if you dont let us build our ride, were not helping you build yours. :D

Sounds like the Strat is having a tough time. I wouldn't blame them if they withdrew support for other projects. They are a business and are trying to help their bottom line. If they need a place to build it, they can use my backyard.

People, let it go. Its ugly and its a waste of materials. The company saying they might not support some minetrain thing is just being a brat! AHHHH! I'm going crazy from this stupid excuse for a ride!

this ride would be insane if they built it. a 700 ft drop isnt a waste of materials in any way. an excuse for a ride is small world.

They are just trying to be even better then thay are. But I'd rather see them wrap a kick a$$ CCI around and near the tower than that thing.
