New Park In Georgia?
Submitted By: ThmPrkCrtc on 9/3/2001 9:16:00 AM
This was mentioned on the message board, but it looks like a group of ex-Disney employees are going to try and build a park in Georgia.. sign me up!

With an amusement park, water park, concert venues and a collection of planes, trains and automobiles covering 1,000 acres, the park would be nearly three times the size of Six Flags Over Georgia. It also would create about 3,000 jobs and have discounted on-site apartments for its employees, Boyd said.

Six Flags has had a lock on amusement in the Atlanta area for a long time. The competition will be good for all. Atlanta is one of the largest cities in the country and can easily support another park. I hope these new guys can make it happen.

Uh, I wouldn't say that we could easily support another park, I think that the new park would probably only do good for a few years, unless it really was superb. Either way, I'd think that one of the park's wouldn't last more than 10 years if this occured.
