Disney Pin Collection

I was at Downtown Disney in Orlando a few months ago and caught a glipse of some people trading pins, and was wondering exactly what was going on. Apparently its the latest craze, or Disneys answer to Pokemon, who knows.. pica pica.

Although resort officials would not estimate how many people will pay to get into the park for the pin-trading show, some collectors predict their ranks will swell to about 10,000...

...The pins have attained such popularity through secondary sales and in trading that today there are an estimated 20,000 different pins. Even Disney isnt sure exactly how many versions exist because it has allowed hundreds of its various business segments to design and sell new pins without central corporate control.
