Isn't this the second time this year that this coaster has screwed up? I remember reading somewhere that the coaster started to derail so the emergency features cut in to stop the train... something like that. Not good for alton! |

What is the deal with all of these coasters getting stuck or colliding or screwing up? Are they not taking proper precautions? I myself have been stranded on the peak of a roller coaster before. Only for ten minutes but It gave a mini-scare. |

Being stranded on the peak of a coaster and being stranded in a corkscrew are two completely different circumstances. For one coasters break down all the time and leave people on the tops of hills. But when you get a coaster that is stuck inside a corkscrew, you've got problems. If you can't fix it tear it down. No use getting sued over something that could have been prevented. |
