A Land Rover flipped onto its right side Tuesday after leaving the rhinoceros habitat. The two injured passengers were treated and released from University Community Hospital.
But Hoeppner said the drivers of the vehicles, which have governors precluding them from exceeding 7 mph, received instruction over a period of weeks.
However, a former employee of OneSource, a subcontractor that does maintenance for Rhino Rally, said he had expressed concerns the Land Rover could flip on steep grades. He said he was not sure whether his concerns reached Busch Gardens officials.
