Big Time Super Rumor

Ok, I read this on the news groups today, but like much on the internet I cant really check the validity of it, but it did at least peek my interest.

There wont be another version of or update to Roller Coaster Tycoon for 2-3 years. How do I know? I had lunch with him at Lake Compounce today and thats what he told me. The next one will be worth the wait. Hes currently touring the northeast US with the RCCGB group.

This was posted by someone by the name of XCALIBRMIKE on the rec.rollercoaster group.

I hope they give us SOMETHING to keep us occupied until then. And 2-3 years? Sounds like a whole new version of the game, not just an expansion, but I'm probably wrong.

If this is true, I hope they do inter-park stuff like "best coaster" and the like. It'll be more fun if you're competing between parks instead of just making the same park over and over. and they need to make a list of all the rides and rate them like they do here, and with a list of the favorites. stuff like that.
