Ok, heres the scenario: I'm going to PKD in three days, and unfortunately it's going to rain the WHOLE day. I'm just asking for some advice for peope who have been to PKD during rainy days. Are the good rides still kept running? Are the crowds significantly smaller? Any other off-topic tips to recomend me before my trip?

I reallly appreciate the advice, thanks for the help!

Well I'm an expert on PKD on rainy days. I was there on July 4th. They tried to keep the rides open in the rain it's the lightning they have a problem with. When PKD notices that lightning is in area they close all the major coasters and Drop Zone (Volcano: Blast Coaster, Flight of Fear, Hypersonic, Anaconda, etc...) In rained practically all day when I was there and Flight of Fear and Hypersonic tended to be the slowest rides to re-open after the storms passed. That said I got to the park when it opened at 10:30, didn't get on any rides until noon and still rode on every coaster (and some flats) at least once during the day.

Flight of Fear is closed during storms?
Dang, I would have thought that they could keep that open since it's indoor.

The motors that power the launch are outside and exposed.

The transformers are outside and susceptible to lightning (that's all I've been told)

Ah, thank you!

If I was planning a trip to Six Flags and a storm was going to come that day, I would have gone to Kings Dominion instead just cause I figured "Flight of Fear should remain open"
