Ok guys and gals, what are the coasters that you haven't ridden yet that you are dying to get on? List as many or as few as you'd like. I'll list 5 of each type that, in my view, are must-rides that I need to get on!
WOOD 1. Phoenix, Knoebel's - Incredible airtime! 2. Shivering Timbers, Michigan's Adventure - Looks amazing! 3. Legend, Holiday World - Rave reviews 4. Raven, Holiday World - See #3 5. Boulder Dash, Lake Compounce - Coaster in a mountain?!? 'Nuff said!
STEEL 1. Superman: RoS, SF New England - Looks out of this world! 2. Apollo's Chariot, BG Williamsburg - B&M genius at work! 3. Nitro, SF Great Adventure - See #2 4. Raging Bull, SF Great America - See #2 5. Alpengeist, BG Williamsburg - Huge invert, heck yeah!

All's I can say is good choice for the first must ride coaster. I 've ridden Phoenix about 6 times (I live and hour away from Knoebels) and it never gets old. It's awesome. As for the steel, put Storm Runner. It's AWESOME!!!

Dude- word of advice: everybody knows that Montu blows Alpengeist out of the water. I've ridden 3 coasters on that list - ride Montu! In other forums general consensus is that it is the world's best looping coaster.
As for me.....
Wood: 1)Boulder Dash, Lake Compounce 2)Tremors, Silverwood 3)Thunderhead, Dollywood 4)Phoenix, Knoebels 5)Raven, Holiday World
Steel: 1)Nemesis, Alton Towers 2)Expedition Ge-Force, Holiday Park 3)Storm Runner, Hersheypark 4)X, Six Flags Magic Mountain 5)Dragon Khan, Universal Port Aventura 6)Apollo's Chariot, Busch Gardens Williamsburg 7)Thunder Dolphin, LaQua 8)Desperado, Buffalo Bill's 9)Steel Dragon 2000, Nagashima Spaland 10)Katun, Mirabalandia
Wow.....That's a lot!
-------------------- -Millennium Force=Ultimate Coaster -SROS (sfne)=Airtime Heaven! -Montu=Best Coaster With Inversions -Hulk's Launch=Best Element out There -Top Thrill Dragster=INSANE!!!!!!

Primogen18, you forgot one coaster on wood that is always "reborn", if you get my drift.

Good list, Larrygator.
I can't believe we are the only two people who listed Tremors!!! That coaster looks amazing. Too bad I'll probably never get to Idaho. How come nobody knows about that coaster - it looks like one of the very best woodies.
As for all the Florida loopers pretty much everybody is listing, they're all great. It's an easy trip where you can knock off many parks at once. This past Christmas I went to BGT, IoA, and WDW all in one trip.
Dueling Dragons, Hulk, Kumba, and especially MONTU are all fabulous.

Alright. Let me address a few things.
All the people that haven't ridden Montu and didn't put it on their lists are crazy!!! Look at the "Best Coaster With Inversions" thread. Do you see a recurring theme (Montu) there? I haven't ridden Alpengeist, but everyone who's ridden both likes Montu a lot better. Just looking at Alpie makes me think that the pacing is a bit off. Montu rules.
Millennium Force is a better coaster than Top Thrill Dragster. Yes, I have TTD ranked highly because of its implications, but MF is definitely the better overall coaster.
TREMORS!!! -If you didn't put it down you probably have never heard of it. Put it into RCDB folks. Take a look and you will be in awe. Also, in that Mitchell's Coaster Poll thing (where coasters are compared against each other), Tremors is ranked VERY highly.

Alpengeist is overrated, mainly because they really put on the trims on the first drop and midcourse. Still an intense ride, but I heard they did the same to Montu.

Montu does not have trims on the first drop, and when I rode it there were not trims before the batwing either. There were TONS of g-forces, so whether there were trims or not it was still a very intense ride. A great part of Montu is that at the top of the batwing there are negative g's and within maybe one second the train quickly dives into the trench and puts on 3.5 G's. So whether they were running or not, they were unnoticeable. Montu's pacing is the best of any coaster I've ridden, including SROS, MF, Hulk, and DD.
I hear that Alpengeist's pacing sucks. People say it takes the Cobra Roll way too fast. Also, I hear that the trims are very noticeable.

The cobra roll is the best part. It's taken at such a high speed (like the rest of the elements) and is not silky smooth and predictable like every other B&M. It's weird how a ride with trims can still be the most intense ride you've ridden, the thing speeds through element after element.

I think that's what made me not like it too much. It just speed through everything and didn't give you the chance to enjoy it. That ride is just a blur in my memory, but AC, LNM, and BBW are perfectly clear.

I put Tremors on the list, because it is a great wooden that I have not ridden yet, but technically it's not a "must" ride as I doubt I would ever make a trip to Idaho.

Yeah, that ride looks awsome, but it's a bit out of the way. Last time I checked (maybe a couple months ago) there weren't even any reviews for it on the site

Yeah, too bad.
I really want to ride that coaster. Timber Terror, also at Silverwood, looks like a great coaster also.

I love foreign coasters, as you can see from the list I have towards the beginning of this thread. 6 out of my 10 steels are foreign. EGF and Thunder Dolphin look fabulous and are also on my list. The other foreign coasters I would love to ride are Nemesis, Oblivion, Collosus, Dragon Khan, Katun, Steel Dragon 2000, and Dodonpa.
