Okay, we went to Bradenton, FL for our spring break and on my Bday (4/6) my mom decided to bring me, my friend, my sister, her friend and themselves to BGT for my Bday present. And so the TR begins...

We got to BGT at 10:30, 1:30 after it opens. We could see Montu from where we parked, and I got excited. When we entered, we took a left to the Gwazi coaster. It had a 10 minute wait, so it wasn't too bad. I went on the yellow coaster. It was very bumpy, but it had some good airtime. After that we walked through an aviary. My friend got bored, so me, my friend, and my sister's friend headed to Python. When we got there, my friend chickened out on the coaster. It had a 15 minute wait, so we went on. It was a horrible coaster and it gave me a slight headache. Wouldn't recommend it. We head to Stanley Falls Flume. It was a very short but fun log flume. We then went to get exspensive Dippin' Dots. After that we went to Congo and did bumper cars. TOO SHORT! After that we road Cheetah Chase and The Haunted Lighthouse. My parent's liked Cheetah Chase. We then took the train to Nairobi and walked over to Montu. It was a 15 minute wait. My sister and my friend chickened out, but me and my sister's friend rode it. That was the best ride ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! incredibly smooth and sort of intense. We then got back in line for the same wait and my friend rode it this time. We all had a blast! We walked in the line with my sister and just before we got on, it broke down. We walked ou of the line and when we got out, it opened again. OMG!!!!! We took the skyride and walked over to Timbuktu. My sister then rode Scorpion, her second looping coaster. The park was about to close and we ran over to Montu and rode it one last time. My sister rode it this time. When we got off she said she hated it and felt sick. Luckily she did not barf. We had to go and exited the park. We had a blast!

Montu is definatly a great coaster, and hwen I was there (2 spring breaks ago), it also had a 15 min wait- I rode it four times that day. Does anyone know if it's always like that?

Also, glad to see that you didn't waste your time with Rhino Rally- the most over-hyped and crowded waste of time that I have ever eperienced. It is def. my least favorite non-coaster ever (see my Psyclone posts in Coaster Critics Disc.)

kumba had a long line in the beginning, and my friends didnt think it looked smooth (as montu at least) so no one would go with me. i rode montu 2 to front, 3 to front, and in the middle

Montu is a fabulous coaster, and is the best non-hypercoaster in the world in my opinion. It has a perfect balance of speed, smoothness, height, inversions, scenery. Just great. I went to BGT this past December and loved it. Kumba was good too, so too bad you didn't get to ride it.

Aww, front is best for Montu. If they didn't want to ride Kumba because of roughness, then why did they ride python? Kumba is an excellent B&M coaster, too bad you missed it, but at least you rode Montu.

Heh heh...I just think your friends were scared to ride Kumba. There are only a few areas that have some head banging....but overall it isn't that bad.

Python wasn't rough. I think that Scorpion, though it is short and kinda hidden in the middle of the park, was a pretty nice coaster with some punch.
