How are parks like all the Disney parks, Universal/IOA, Seaworld, etc. in Janurary? Like how are the crowds, operating times, etc.

And I have a question about IOA. Is IOA a seperate admission from Universal or do you pay for both upon entry to any of those 2 parks? And how much is it.

I'm going to Orlando in Janurary if you didn't guess already lol.

January shouldn't be bad at all. My only real recommendations are staying on-site at Universal while you attend those parks. Universal all day express makes crowds non-existent even on days like Easter. While at Disney, you shouldn't have much of a problem either. January shouldn't be too bad...

January/Febuary is the BEST time to visit Orlando. Crowds are near non-existent at the parks down there in the mid winter. I visited in Feb. 2002 and found that almost all rides were a walk-on at the Disney parks, and at IOA I used the single rider lines and waited for almost nothing there. In fact, the longest line of the day at IOA was the line for the tickets to get into the park.

No lines, I think I'm about to go to heaven in Janurary.

I've visited in February before, and lines weren't too bad. (With the exception of the mountains at MK) The only attraction you might have a problem with is Mission: Space if you go to Epcot. It may be more crowded because it's so new.

I wouldn't even worry too much about that, the free FastPass system works great. Doesn't anyone know if Mission Space has a Singles line like Test Track?

I hate singles line, unless I'm by myself (obviously). I'd rather wait on a short line and ride with everyone. I can't urge you more to stay ONSITE at Universal anywayz. It kicks major ass.....everything is RIGHT there, no lines no matter what.....go on the Hulk as much as you want, literally. Same with Spidy....same with freakin everything. ROYAL PACIFIC ALL THE WAY!

I personally think that all major rides at major parks should have singles lines. There is nothing worse then watching coasters being dispatched with a bunch of empty seats.

I like them because I am usually visiting alone or with one or two others.

Well if I were alone, I would be ALL with you . However, most of the time when I'm at a themepark, it's with other people. I can't see how people go on rides by themselves when they are with other people. I think it's kind of pointless. But yea, I def think that there should be singles lines for sure...

Wow, you asked all of the exact questions I was going to ask! Thanks! I'm not sure if I'm going in January, but possibly sometime this winter. Oooh, I'm excited!

Alot of times we would take end of the year feild trips to IOA or Disney on a random day like a tuesday and everything was a walk on. We'd get to a 15 monute line and think it was too long.

Yea I skipped() school on a wednesday last year in late Nov. sometime and went to IoA. There was almost no one in the park. The longest line I waited in was the wait to get into the park which was only 5min.

I hope to make more trips like that this year.

Only problem is that some of the attractions will close for what they call "Rehab" during that time.
Ride Closures
Obviously they are a couple days late in updating that.
Also, take a look at this
