Hey everone,
Thank God I'm finally going to Cedar Point this July. I was just wondering if you guys had any good ideas of what rides to do as soon as i get there and what rides to do at the end of the day. Cuz my family doesnt like coasters, we'll only be there for like one day. So i need help deciding what to ride and what not to ride too. Help! I figure if I ride all of the coasters (except Jr Gemini, Woodstock, Wildcat, DT, perhaps not BS) and PowerTower i may fit it all into one day. If you guys have tips or advice or anything, please tell me. Thanks!

Well the obvious thing is hit TTD first, then maybe Mantis, MF, WT, Raptor, BS, and then just hit whatever else.

Hereis a pretty good topic with many tips. I suggest that anyone looking for tips for any park try and scope out some of the rest of the topics on the boards before posting a new one. Not that its bad, but how many topics since Jan have started up for tips on CP?

Thanks for your comment on Flying Unicorn. Hope your trip is good. You can also visit the Cedar Fair website: CF Inc. If you are driving and have an extra couple of days, head down to Paramount’s Kings Island PKI.com PKI Guide. I have been planning a trip to the big two for years and this summer I plan on getting there. Have Fun!

WoA is only an hour away. It has some great coasters like BKF. The best B&M in Ohio!

There is alot to do and see at Cedar Point, I've been going for 12 years (I'm 17 now) and I haven't ridden or seen all there. Hit Wicked Twister first the line is short in the morning, then hit over to Power Tower because you can ride both sides in about 15 minuets first thing, then head toward the back and hit rides like Corkscrew, Magnum, Gemini, Mean Streak, hop on the CP & LE Railroad from MS and it will take you to the Millenium Force area. Hit MF and then Mantis just across the path, then Iron Dragon is next to Mantis if you want a weak relax ride. Hit TTD towards the end so it's running and the lines get shorter at the night time. Thats that best I can say. Hit Demon Drop before you leave, it's a great free fall ride. Have fun!

You can hit WT any time in the day, when I was there it never had more than a 10 minute line. Ride TTD or MF first.

Everyone has that idea and the lines are usually very long in the morning to mid day. At the end of the night most people have left early to avoid traffic so the lines aren't bad. Thats why said hit MF and TTD toward the end of the night like around 6-9 pmish...the lines are 2 hours max then opposed to 3 hours morning and mid day.

Don't be surprised if TTD is closed.

I know you already went but for anybody else going to CP whenever I have ONE tip for you- do not do not do not do not do not and I will repaet one more time DO NOT ride TTD or MF first! The lines for thoes are always about 2 1/2 hours in the mroning and about 1- 1/2 hours during the NIGHT. It is more fun to ride during thr night and shorter lines so remmeber that!

Very true - I rode both coasters at night and they were both amazing. (Still, MF had a 2 1/2 hour wait at 9pm for the front row seat)

If you stay at a Cedar Point hotel and get into the park early, before the public, you should get on the line for TTD immediately. I was there for three days and if I hadn't done this I never would have ridden (and wasted a lot of time in line) done to constant mechanical problems. Hopefully, the kinks will be worked out for 2004
