I arrived somewhat late not getting to the park until 1:30. I went with my Brother and his girlfriend. The park was up and running. Looking really good, holding off was probably a great dissuasion given the terrible bad weather of this past winter.
Closed rides Phyco Drome (forgot to ask why), Paratroopers (still getting painted and not yet together), and Kiddie tanks. Later in the day over the rainbow was shut down. Every other ride in the park was open including the water rids.
We first went to DaVinci's Dream. This is one of the most beautiful flying carousels I have ever seen. Also the overall themeing for the ride is fantastic. Good ride and it move’s great. A pleasant start to the day! We looked at a few things. I took some photos that I will get posted on Theme Park New England website.
We hit every ride in the park except the Ferris wheel and the bumper cars. Didn’t feel like riding them. I did thou ride the parks S&S Froghopper (Jungle Bounce). I will admit is it a lot of fun.
Highlight of the day was doing my own little endurance contest. I spent 25 minutes of spin time of the Turkish Twist. 1 run alone was 6 minutes long. 4 rides on the Starblaster. 8 rides and closed the park on the Cannonball. Which was running extremely well and very, very, fast today. There wasn’t a seat you weren’t getting airtime in.
I also ran into all of the owners. Talk to them and every manager. Another good sight was the ground crew, landscaping, were everywhere. Working on the grass and plants sweeping dust of the pants. Maintenance could be found walking around watch ign the rides and checking up. Soothing you don’t se in some local chain parks. This should be a good year for the park.

update on other things. the Paratroopers are beign repainted but not in the colers I had herd. machin and cars will be Blue(dark) gray and black. still bostign a sort of camoflage. the base of the walk way has the base blue and also has yellow runers(SFMM Scream colors).
The old skatign rink is being repared. aperantly it will return to beign storadge. My brother and I are a little skeptical over this coment because they removed a chunk of the front and now have a verry large door on it. not needed for video cgames and similare items thatget stored thier in the part. but this old PTC skate house will stay on park property.
The entrance will bet 2 new ticket windows to help with trafic. this will get people in the park faster. a new entrance is beign planed but no word on when they will redo the entrance.

Are you talking about the building which has been used as a theater for the past several years or the other building which has been for storage all along? I thought the theater building was the old skating rink.

The the Theater or ball room. was built as a ball room by PTC in the 30s they have started doign shows in it again last year. but it had been empty for a wile. the Skatink rink also built by PTC can be found behind the Turkish twist and next to the Boston area. this has ben storage for the last 35 years since the operater closed ot do to liability. They are complityly redoign the building. a new roof and new floors are being put in. it jsut seems like their going to alot of truble fr storage space. when theri are other places to stor the stuff.
