Finally, some information on this event:
ACE Day at Morey's Piers - Saturday, 12 August 2006
Come celebrate Great White's 10th Birthday!
NEW TIME THIS YEAR:
Noon - 2 PM for ERT on Great White, Go-Karts from 11 AM - 2PM
Here are the details for the ACE NJ regional event at Morey's Piers. There are several changes from past years' events so please read carefully if you plan to join us.
NEW PROCESS THIS YEAR:
First stop is Mariners Landing Pier (middle pier), located at Boardwalk and Schellenger Avenue. Go to the Guest Services booth located under the Sea Serpent roller coaster. Guest Services will open at 9 AM. You MUST show a valid, current ACE membership card for you and your group to get the reduced price admission for the day (your guests don't need to be club members, but at least one person in the group must belong to ACE and show the ticket seller a valid card).
You will receive your wristband for the day at Guest Services (see discounted prices below). ERT on Great White will be from 12 Noon - 2 PM and Go-Karts from 11am - 2pm. This is a time change from previous years. Great White and the Go-Karts are located on Adventure Pier at Spencer Avenue and Boardwalk (formerly known as Wild Wheels Pier, southernmost of the three piers). Adventure Pier opens later in the day than Mariner's Landing and Surfside Pier, which open to the public at noon because they include the waterparks.
After you purchase wristbands, walk south along the boardwalk to Adventure Pier. The ACE Day registration table/tent will be near the entrance to Great White. Sign in and get your event badge for ERT.
It is important that you have your ACE card with you because the sign-in table is *not* co-located with the Guest Services booth (where you pay) on Mariners Landing Pier. We'll be down at Adventure Pier at the ACE table.
The price of admission for ACE members and their guests in 2006 is $30 for a Rides Only ticket/wristband and $32 for Rides and Waterpark
Combo ticket/wristband. This includes ERT on Great White and Go-Karts. This is a two dollar increase over the past three years' price, but it's still a 30% discount off the regular weekend POP ticket price for adults and kids over 48 inches - and a better deal than any of Morey's group rates.
After ERT ends you and your friends are on your own to explore and enjoy Morey's Piers and the Wildwood boardwalk attractions.

The long range weather forecast for Wildwood, NJ, indicates that next Saturday will be pleasant and sunny, with a high in the low to mid 80s. Last year was unbearably hot, and it rained during the three prior years on ACE Day. Cross your fingers for a nice, dry day with a good breeze! There is no rain date for this event.
