So I unexpectidly made a visit to Knoebels last night. We had a power outage at work, thus making my night run very, very short, so I decided to detour to the park for Family Bargin Night.

For $7 you get a handstamp for everything but the coasters, Skyride, Skloosh and Haunted Mansion. Thats fine by me since I intend to spend some time on my old favorite the Flyers and Skooters.

I did not roam the park too much, but it looks like everything is back up and running, including the Kiddie Carousel. Adriahna will be happy to learn that the band organ is in fine shape. As the water came rushing in, Dick came rushing over with a front end loader and picked the organ up, saving it from the rushing water.

The Turns are coming along very nicly, it looks like most of the structure is up, and the track looks great.

I finished the night out with a few locals on a wild ten minute ride on the Skooters. Lets just say, I was feeling it after that ride.

that sounds amazing. i'd love to go to KG on a casual mid-week night and wail on the flyers and bumper cars with the locals.

Were the Panther Cars open? I love that ride, even if it is a "kiddie" ride and a knock off of Traver's Auto Ride.

I might be going on Sunday, so I'm making a list of my top priority rides, especially ones that I haven't been on (which isn't many!), but I think the Flying Skooters are at the top because I always manage to miss them.

I hope it's nice and HOT. I've never been on the Flume or Sklooosh. This heat wave though has not been good. I live around Harrisburg and the humidity is killing me.

You rock, Cyclonic - thanks for the report. I can just see it now - the harrowing rescue!
