Which roller coaster company do ya'll think's benefiting the most in terms of building roller coasters for 2006? I think that B&M are on top this year b/c they're building 2 hypers, 2 inverts, & 2 flyers. Gravity Group comes in at a close second b/c Voyage truly looks like a phenomenal ride & Holiday World will practically be set for life in terms of their coaster count. The attendance record will skyrocket like crazy for that park this year. Guaranteed.

B&M owns this year. Even though Voyage and El Toro are coming out, they're from different manufacturers. B&M has Black Mamba, Goliath, (SFOG) and Tatsu coming out, plus Patriot and another hyper at La Ronde. Can't beat that, imo.

I have to agree B&M will take this year. they may have been sleeping the last few eyars but 2006 will put them back on top.

I think you will see a big change in the top lists out there and well.

I agree BandM will take it, even though woodies are making a comeback, steel still dominates the market, and when people think smooth reliable steel, BandM always comes to mind.

I think in time you will start seeign very few steels outside of smaller family coaster. B&M might want to design some lower end rides. SFI are cuting back on the 20 million coaster and Paramount and CF arn't going to make up for it. Most of the smaller parks will be addign woods and smaller family size coasters since they cost far less.

I think B & M will take the top this year. More steel coasters will be built then wood because of cost, maintenence, reliability, smoothness, ect.
