Finally, After hours of reading trip reports, tips, and reviews, I made the 7 hour drive to Busch Gardens Williamsburg to experience it for myself.

On Monday morning I got to the park at 10 AM. I didn't have to wait too long for my ticket (a little less than 10 minutes). As soon as I got in to the park I walked straight back to Curse of Darkastle. The park was much bigger than I expected, it took a good 15 minutes to get to the ride.

I was very impressed with the theming of this ride. The statue outside was a very nice touch. Luckily I got there early so the wait was only 15 minutes. The ride itself was also very impressive, extremly detailed for a seasonal park. My only complaint is that the storys ending was a bit abrubt.
After Curse of Darkastle I headed over to Big Bad Wolf. They had just opened that part of the park so the wait was only 5 minutes! I enjoyed the ride, it was a very unique coaster, unlike any other I had ever been on.
Next, I headed over to the Italy area, where I rode the Battering Ram (an average pirate ship ride). I was then going to ride Davinchis cradle, but it was closed .
Apollos Chariot was next, the line was about 30 minutes, not terrible. The ride itself was very good, not quiet Superman at SFNE( less airtime, and the first drop didn't feel as thrilling), but fun none the less.
We then headed to Alpengeist. The line was about 35 minutes. I thought the theming was cute in the line. Once I completed the ride, it easily became my favorite inverted coaster. The first loop was huge and the rest of the ride felt very intense.
After Alpengeist we headed over to the Jack Hanah area. I was very impressed by how close you get to both the eagles and the wolves.
It then started to rain so we headed over to the indoor ride, Corkscrew Hill (15 minute wait). This was an above average motion simulator, however I feel these rides are past their prime.
When we got out of the ride it was pouring, we decided we would try and stick it out, however after 2 hours without the rain letting up, we headed back to the hotel.
At around 6:30 PM we headed back to BG. We ate at the smokehouse (the food was impressive for a theme park, but I'm not sure if it justified the VERY high prices).
At around 8:15 we headed over to Escape From Pompeii. On the weigh over I stopped to get my ride in on Davichis Cradle (no wait). The ride was fun for a flat, nothing special. Finally we reached Escape from Pompeii. We walked right on, no wait. The ride was more fun then I expected, but I would have enjoyed it if there was a narator. The fire effects were very cool. We rode it again without having to get off!
By this time it was 9:15, so I hurried over to Loch Ness to get my final ride of the day in. The wait was about 15 minutes. This ride was much more impressive than I thought it was going to be. The drops were better than I expected.
It was 9:45 and my feet were throbbing so I decided to call it a night.
After my first day, I was very impressed by the parks coasters and the cleanliness of the park. My only complaint was that I felt the park was too spread out (and of course the rain, but I couldn't do anything about that).

My second day at williamsburg was spent at Water country, however I decided to head over to BG at around 7:00 to get a couple rides in and to see the show, Imaginique. When we got to the park we headed straight to Apollos Chariot, there were very few people in line, however the attendents were moving at an expectionaly slow rate, making the line 35 minutes when it could have easily been 20. The ride itself was excellent. Much more impressive than the first time. A lot more airtime.
Next came the show, unfortuantly they had to show an abreviated version due to the weather. The show was above average for a theme park, but it didn't blow me away. After the show ended it was 9:30 so I ran over to Alpengeist for a lasrt hoo-rah. It was a walk on! I got back row. Another amazing ride. We then left the park at 9:45,after an impressive 3 hours.
